Structural Engineer Opportunities

A mechanical engineer with a strong foundation in structural principles is needed to analyze and assess plant equipment and structural components.
Job Responsibilities- Perform thorough assessments of plant equipment and structural components to identify areas for improvement.
- Design modifications to optimize existing mechanical and structural systems, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on the design and coordination of new equipment installations, including load-bearing supports, platforms, and foundations.
- Contribute to shutdown planning by developing detailed work packs, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Prepare technical specifications for tendering, review supplier proposals, and support contract awards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve mechanical and structural challenges.
- Possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with exposure to structural engineering principles.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with project planning tools, such as Asana or Trello.
- Have some experience working with CAD software, AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred.
