- We're offering an exciting casual opportunity at our mine site laboratory in the North Bowen Basin.
As a Coal Quality Tester, you'll play a key part in ensuring quality, efficiency, client satisfaction, and productivity.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collection of production and train samples
- Performing preparation and analytical tests, including proximate analysis, Total Sulphur, and Calorific Value determinations
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently, following standard operating instructions
- Validating results to ensure they are within repeatability tolerances
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, including XRF, Proximate Ovens/Furnaces, Leco Sulfur, and Leco CV
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
- Attention to detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- Previous industry experience is an advantage
