Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sydney International Airport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical systems and equipment, including automated storage cranes and specialized transport systems. This is a full-time on-site position that involves working 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster.

Key areas of focus include:

  1. Conducting regular mechanical maintenance inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
  2. Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical systems and components, with a focus on fault finding and problem solving.
  3. Utilizing data analytics to enhance system performance and efficiency.
  4. Providing technical support to customers and ensuring compliance with WHS standards.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced automation systems, including conveyors and sortation systems, and develop your skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong mechanical background, with a minimum of three to five years' experience as a Service Technician. A Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical or higher qualification is also highly regarded.
