Job Title: Payroll Officer

Job Description:

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for fortnightly payroll processing, coordination with external service providers and assisting the Director of Finance in managing payroll activities. Key responsibilities include administering payroll processing and reconciliation for 40+ full-time, part-time, casual and contract employees using ADP. This includes timely completion of payroll forms and maintaining accurate records on salary packaging, allowances/deductions, commencements, terminations, leave and other relevant information.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fortnightly payroll processing experience using ADP or similar software;
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with external service providers;
  • Able to maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records;
  • Understanding of industry awards (HIGA legislation) preferred;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
