Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing high-quality support and advising to students studying abroad.

The Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Director to manage student crises, welcome students, and arrange site visits. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a strong interest in working with university students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide student support and advising to ensure students have a positive study abroad experience.
  • Work with the Assistant Director to manage student crises and disciplinary matters.
  • Welcome students to the centre and perform welfare checks as needed.
  • Secure guest speakers, excursions, and site visits.
  • Attend events for student arrivals and departures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong interest in working with people.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • A high degree of professionalism and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team member.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and work under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the US education system.
  • Prior experience working with students.
