Job Title: Senior Hospital Scientist

This role is pivotal in the Sleep Investigation Unit, requiring collaboration with hospital scientists, nurses, and technicians to conduct comprehensive sleep investigations for patients with sleep disorders.

A strong teaching element in sleep and respiratory physiology is essential. The ideal candidate will have a science or applied science degree from an approved university, registered or registry eligible for Board of Polysomnographic Technologist qualification, and advanced troubleshooting and technical ability in polysomnography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sleep investigations using Nox, Alice, and Compumedics sleep systems.
  • Ensuring quality control for all technical equipment, analysis methods, and sleep study procedures.
  • Providing a strong teaching element in sleep and respiratory physiology and measurement.

Requirements:

  • Science or applied science degree from an approved university.
  • Registered or registry eligible for Board of Polysomnographic Technologist qualification.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and technical ability in polysomnography.
