Process Operator Job Summary

The Process Operator plays a pivotal role in our processing team, responsible for operating the processing plant and associated equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.

We are seeking an experienced operator with a sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment to join our team at a prominent gold mine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all processing plant equipment relating to Crushing, Grinding, Gravity, Leach, Adsorption, Elution, and Tails Storage Facility.
  • Manage process control systems effectively.
  • Identify and diagnose items requiring preventative maintenance or repair.
  • Maximise plant and equipment efficiency during production.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to plant output and efficiency.
  • Safely operate various machinery including IT loader, bobcat, forklift, and power tools.
  • Develop and maintain procedures ensuring timely, consistent, and efficient execution of mining plans.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a mineral processing environment, preferably gold.
  • Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment, including Citect control system.
  • Proficiency in computing skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
