About the RoleYou will be part of an exciting youth services team delivering recreational, educational, and social programs at The Youth Shed (Karratha) and The Base (Wickham).
Create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where young people can participate and grow.
- Support events and daily operations with energy and enthusiasm.
- Interact with young community members and help them achieve their goals.
- Assist with program development and implementation.
- Supervise and engage young people in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues and youth.
- Contribute to creating a dynamic and supportive team culture.
- Gain hands-on experience in youth services and community engagement.
- Make a real impact on the lives of young people in the district.
- Flexible casual shifts to fit around your lifestyle.
- A passion for working with young people, particularly those from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to support, supervise, and engage young people.
- Previous experience in youth services or community engagement is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
