Join Our Team as a Community Care Assistant

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Assistant to join our team. As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working approximately 20 hours per week. You will be required to travel to various locations in the Inner West, including Concord, Lewisham, Marrickville, and Roselands. A reliable vehicle and Australian driver's license are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with general household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide transportation to appointments and shopping
  • Offer social support and respite for family members and carers
  • Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified)
Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (or willingness to complete through our traineeship program)
  • An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A kind and compassionate approach to care
