About the Role

The Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategy Planning Manager. This is a key role that will support the development and implementation of our digital strategy, working closely with business units across the department to assess their capabilities and prioritize initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct capability-based assessments and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and develop business cases
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive level leaders
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams
  • Develop and implement change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and capability development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's values and policies
