About This Opportunity

This is a rewarding role that involves overseeing the daily operations of an art studio for people with disability.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct services to participants and leading a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead staff and support program participants through creative activities such as artwork development.
  • Identify and implement different art mediums and avenues to enhance creative expression.
  • Plan and deliver programs of activities in physical and/or virtual settings.
  • Provide feedback on client progress and ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable people or willingness to gain experience.
  • Background in Creative Arts or Art Therapy qualifications.
  • Certificate III or above in Disability or relevant experience.
  • Valid NSW Driver's licence and insured vehicle.
  • First aid Certificate and Epilepsy Management Certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Check clearance and Working with Children's check clearance.
