Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift in a cold room environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to move materials within the cold room ensuring efficient workflow and safety standards
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers using appropriate equipment and procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Assist with inventory management and organization within the cold room to optimize storage capacity and reduce waste
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator preferably in a refrigerated environment
  • Valid forklift certification ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a cold environment with minimal breaks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and optimize storage space
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately to meet deadlines and achieve targets
