About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Specialist to join our team in Smithfield, Australia. As a key member of our workshop-based team, you will provide technical support on Home Appliances & Air Conditioners to staff, resellers, service agents, and end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and qualify service/warranty returns, identify faults, and provide reports to the NSM and product development team.
  • Provide technical support to staff, resellers, service agents, and end users.
  • Repair damaged/faulty products for re-sale, prepare write-off, and strip usable/saleable parts before disposal.
  • Analyze and approve warranty service calls received, coordinate the repair process with Service Agents, including despatching spare parts.
  • Assist with testing of product samples from OEM factories.
  • Assist with the sale of spare parts.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade Certificate - Essential (Certificate IV in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration – Electro Technology).
  • An Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) RAC01 – Full Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Licence - Essential.
  • A NSW Contractor/Qualified Supervisor Licence in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning/Electrical - Desirable.
  • A Restricted Electrical Licence - Desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning industry.
  • Fault diagnosis/problem-solving abilities/use of nitrogen.
  • Technical writing/communication/ability to decipher technical data/wiring diagrams.
  • A professional telephone manner.
  • Be a team player.
About Us
