Engine Technician Job Opportunity

Cummins is seeking an experienced Engine Technician to join their Field Service team in Adelaide.

  • Completes complex repairs by applying documented procedures and policies, identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
  • Disassembles, inspects, cleans and reassembles engines and/or engine components.
  • Performs preventative maintenance based on engine assessments.
  • Assists more experienced technicians with diagnostics and repair plans for engines in the workshop.
  • Completes documentation, including work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Requirements:
  • Australian recognized trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle)
  • Apprentice trained engine technician preferred
  • Locally valid driving permit
  • Significant field service work experience
  • Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
