Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled electrical engineering specialist to lead our SCADA system projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in SCADA systems, renewable energy, substations, and grid infrastructure. They should be proficient in multi-vendor configurations, RTUs, HMIs, and relevant communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SCADA systems for major projects.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance, system integration, and emerging technologies.
  • Act as a technical lead on bids and proposals, supporting business development and client engagement.
  • Manage SCADA-related systems, documentation, and testing equipment.
  • Contribute to project management through estimates, budgets, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field, and RPEQ or RPEV accreditation.
  • Significant experience in SCADA systems across various industries, including renewable energy and grid infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in multi-vendor configurations, RTUs, HMIs, and relevant communication protocols.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with cyber security frameworks (AESCSF, ISA/IEC 62443) and SCADA integration with AEMO systems.
  • Testing, commissioning, and estimating experience.
  • Project management certification or demonstrated high-level project delivery capability.
