Our company is seeking an Electrical Systems Optimisation Lead to drive the development of innovative water treatment projects.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading electrical engineering teams in designing and implementing efficient solutions for water treatment plants.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and optimising detailed electrical engineering requirements for water treatment plant designs.
  • Providing technical oversight during the bidding process, evaluating proposed electrical systems and procedures.
  • Enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration and improving bid quality through coordination with cross-functional departments.
  • Supporting the bidding team in standardisation tasks and contributing to consistent technical approaches.
  • Conducting detailed electrical system optimisation for water treatment projects.
  • Preparing electrical equipment data sheets and performing technical tabulations for desalination plant components.
  • Reviewing technical documentation post-purchase and ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Additional Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Extracting and communicating key technical information from bid documents.
  • Proposing technical improvements to enhance bid competitiveness and feasibility.
  • Preparing and contributing to client proposals, presentations, and defences.
  • Maintaining accurate and effective documentation throughout the bid and project phases.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
