Support Worker - Personal Care

About the Role: Our organisation is looking for a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be working in Supported Independent Living (SIL), supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.
  • Work across a 24/7 roster, supporting participants with complex needs.
  • Integrate iPads and other digital tools into daily routines, enhancing communication and client-led supports.

Requirements:

  • Hold an unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Willingsness to drive a company van where required for transportation.
  • Demonstrated competency in basic technology usage on mobile and desktop platforms.
  • A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 or willingness to obtain.
  • Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks.
