Job Description:

We are seeking caring individuals who can provide support and assistance to older people, enabling them to live independently at home for as long as possible. The role involves traveling around Mudgee and surrounding areas, requiring some weekday availability between 8am-5pm.

  • Assist with general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, and washing
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping
  • Prepare meals
  • Provide social support or respite for family/carers
  • Assist with personal care including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older people
  • Ability to interact comfortably with a wide variety of people
  • Reliability and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential, but willing to complete through our traineeship program)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
