The successful candidate will provide expert advice to senior executives and stakeholders on cost recovery policy and manage reporting cycles in a regulatory project environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project finances and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
  • Undertake research and lead policy development on cost recovery for regulatory services, analyzing data and identifying trends
  • Develop detailed processes for estimating and explaining cost recovery, ensuring compliance with government regulations
  • Provide clear financial analysis and draft accurate, timely, and consistent financial advice to stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5-10 years' experience in financial management, with a strong background in government budgetary and financial frameworks
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, TechnologyOne, and Aurion, with a high level of proficiency
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and present financial written material, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Chartered Accountant/Certified Practicing Accountant (desirable)
