About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Frontend PHY IC Design Engineer to join our team of innovators.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in building next-generation Wi-Fi chips that will redefine wireless connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, integrate, verify and bring up an IEEE 802.11ah PHY to be used in our family of Wi-Fi chips.
  • Collaborate with digital, systems and firmware teams to help architect and verify the PHY and ensure functional and performance goals are achieved.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a PHY IC Design Engineer.
  • Detailed understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), with emphasis on HW implementation.
  • Proven experience developing multiple DSP blocks of complex SoCs.
  • Familiarity with the IEEE 802.11 PHY layer and knowledge of 802.11ah.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience performing phy bring up, debug and performance measurement on silicon in the lab.
  • A solid understanding of embedded processors, with RISC-V knowledge advantageous.
