RF Design Leadership Opportunity

Morse Micro is at the forefront of next-generation Wi-Fi technology, pushing boundaries in wireless connectivity solutions.

We seek an experienced RF Design Manager with in-depth understanding of IEEE 802.11 to play a pivotal role in crafting next generation Wi-Fi chips for IoT applications.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth environment while working in a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of ASIC Engineering & Product, you will lead the Radio team including design, development, and verification of Morse Micro's wireless ICs.

You will be responsible for ensuring that staffing, infrastructure, and processes are in place to drive silicon development from design through to tapeout, delivering high-quality, reliable results every time.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on schedule.
  • Manage technical project management skills of cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver technical leadership within the team.
  • Mentor junior team members.

Required skills include:

  • A sound working knowledge of adjacent technical specialties.
  • An extensive knowledge of wider implications of technology and product development.
  • Effectively lead the design, development, and implementation of strategic technical initiatives.
  • A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of status and issues across all engineering groups.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15+ years experience leading cross-functional teams in a similar role.
  • 15+ years experience in the wireless domain.
  • MSc or PhD in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering.
  • Experience taking wireless chips to mass production.
