Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Promoting and maintaining a culture of safety for all employees, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Leading fleet maintenance planning, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.
  • Developing and maintaining the fleet maintenance business plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Creating procurement plans to secure essential services, parts, and consumables.
  • Negotiating prices for parts and managing workshop inventory.
  • Establishing supplier relationships, monitoring contractor performance.
  • Monitoring and reporting on fleet maintenance progress, budgets, and timelines.
  • Managing workshop operations within budget constraints.
  • Maintaining fleet software records, including mileage, repairs, servicing, and manuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' background working on heavy mobile maintenance in a mining environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Experience with mobile plant maintenance and familiarity with Pulse Maintenance Systems.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
