Project Management Office (PMO) Leader

The PMO is a strategic function that plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. As a seasoned PMO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a structured project management framework, managing governance and reporting functions, and developing best practice tools and templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a project management methodology to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and resources, driving business outcomes and growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading a small to medium-sized PMO, with a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple competing demands.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement, always seeking ways to optimize processes and improve outcomes.
