Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated support professional to join our team as a Disability Support Worker fluent in Italian.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is maintained at all times.

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Assist individuals with daily activities, personal care, and community participation, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in disability support, demonstrating your ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability, CPR/First Aid, and NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • Compliance with COVID and flu vaccination records, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others.
  • Proficiency in manual handling techniques, allowing you to safely lift and move individuals with disabilities.
