Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance, modification, and testing of aircraft systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and modifying aircraft systems, associated components, and equipment within their scope of trade qualifications, training, competency, and organisational authorisation.

  • Maintenance of aircraft systems, including preparation, handling, loading, and maintenance of aircraft weapon systems
  • Preparation and handling of armament systems, including correct installation, testing, and functionality in accordance with Authorised Maintenance Data
  • Sign-off and Certification of aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with AMD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the assigned Operations Manager
  • Liaising with industry teams involved in maintenance operations
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance procedures and DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework
  • Australian citizenship
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian NV1 Defence security clearance or ability to obtain
