We are seeking a highly motivated Component Maintenance Technician - Hydraulics to join our Component Team at Clontarf QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform component tear-down, cleaning, inspection, repairs, modifications, testing, and reassembly with high proficiency.
- Carry out all aspects of component repair and overhaul, prioritising workflow efficiently.
- Assemble, disassemble, test, and repair hydraulic components.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper processing of sub-components and support technical issues.
- Investigate inspection and testing findings, performing repairs as needed.
- Handle components carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain knowledge of regulations such as ADs, ASB, TB, Service Installations, STC, and third-party orders.
- Assist with inventory management, planning, engineering support, and technical solutions.
- Work in accordance with OEM documentation and airworthiness standards.
- Optimize shop layout and processes for component repair and overhaul.
- Support the development of CRO, quotations, proposals, and compliance programs.
- Ensure safety measures are followed during all operations.
- Implement proactive maintenance solutions.
- Maintain shop tools, equipment, and documentation.
- Contribute to a positive working environment and team collaboration.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Experience in hydraulic component maintenance.
- Knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and standards.
- Experience in a CAR30 & Part 145 approved maintenance organization.
- Experience in a similar-sized organization to Bell Textron Australia.
- Passion for aviation and customer service.
