Agricultural Appointments seeks a highly skilled Agronomic Consultant to join their team in the Griffith/Hay/Hillston region of NSW. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agronomic practices and be able to provide expert advice to farmers on irrigated cotton and dryland cereals and pulses.

The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in an agricultural based discipline and over 2 years' experience in providing agronomic advice to farmers. They will also have specific experience in cotton production and excellent communication and computer based skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to become a partner in the business in the future and develop their skills in specialist areas and areas of interest.

The role involves providing whole farm agronomic advice focused on irrigated cotton and dryland cereals and pulses, as well as an opportunity to provide input on improved pasture-based grazing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide agronomic advice to farmers on irrigated cotton and dryland cereals and pulses.
  • Develop and implement whole farm agronomic plans.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide input on improved pasture-based grazing systems.
