The Company
Agricultural Appointments is a well-established agronomic consulting firm providing independent advice to farms throughout the region. Our client offers a unique opportunity for a talented agronomist to join their team in the Griffith/Hay/Hillston region of NSW.

The Role
As a crop management specialist, you will provide whole farm agronomic advice focused on irrigated cotton and dryland cereals and pulses. You will also have the opportunity to provide input on improved pasture-based grazing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide agronomic advice to farmers on crop management and irrigation strategies
  • Develop and implement crop management plans to optimize yields and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with the client's team to provide comprehensive agronomic services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and technologies in crop management and irrigation

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in an agricultural based discipline
  • More than 2 years' experience in providing agronomic advice to farmers
  • Specific experience in cotton production
  • Ability to work independently, whilst enjoying a team environment
  • Excellent communication and computer-based skills
