Job Opportunity: Early Years Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team at St Luke's Long Day Care and Kindergarten in Capalaba. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 6 months to kindergarten.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of activities that foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service and its values within the local community.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA).
  • Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Knowledge of child care industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • Passion for working with children aged 6 months to kindergarten in a play-based learning environment.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs is highly regarded.
