We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data-driven organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting business decisions through data collection, processing, and analysis.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading project teams in delivering solutions according to requirements for Data initiatives. This involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights, presenting data in a clear and concise manner using charts, graphs, and tables, building dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics, and performing statistical analysis to support business strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization, and the ability to derive insights from complex datasets. Experience with SQL, Excel, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, Data Warehousing, ETL, Data Modelling, and Statistics is essential.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to work effectively with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and improve data quality. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to interpret data and provide recommendations to support business decisions, as well as present findings in a clear, actionable manner to stakeholders.

Requirements
  • A minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization, and the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, Data Warehousing, ETL, Data Modelling, and Statistics.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable.

This contract is available for an initial 6-months with possible extension. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a balanced work-life experience located in Sydney.
