About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at a prominent restaurant in Melbourne. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service and guest experience standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain company standards of service and presentation
  • Plan and develop seasonal menus, wine matching, and special event menus
  • Develop relationships with local suppliers and producers
  • Maintain purchasing, stock levels, and staffing costs in line with weekly and monthly budgets
  • Manage and oversee reservations and customer service in a busy dining room
  • Manage health and safety requirements and COVID regulations
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and supervising of new staff

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Hospitality or minimum 3 years experience in a similar management role
  • Excellent hospitality business acumen, understanding of rostering, operational costings, and team development
  • Dedicated hospitality professional with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Keen to learn and expand on existing hospitality management knowledge
  • Team work and customer-focused environment
  • Wine knowledge a distinct advantage

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 and the opportunity to work with a reputable hospitality company.
