About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Atlas Recruitment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale water infrastructure projects, including capital work programs in Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project engineering across a range of government, commercial, and residential infrastructure projects in Melbourne and surrounding regions.
  • Drive accountability and commercial focus throughout all projects.
  • Ensure delivery meets client expectations.
  • Manage field-based activities and contracts.
Requirements
  • Tertiary engineering qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Member of Engineers Australia (minimum) with CPEng highly regarded.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • 5-10 years' engineering experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and goals simultaneously, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to lead a small team in project delivery.
  • Business development strategies, client management, and winning new work.
  • Understanding of water policy and previous experience working on water infrastructure-related projects in VIC and/or NSW.
  • Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.

  • Technical and non-technical report writing.
  • Commercially focused pricing and tender submissions.
