Senior Geospatial Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Data Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of comprehensive enhancements and improvements to our data platform.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with ESRI's ArcGIS suite, as well as other geospatial technologies such as FME Workbenches. Additionally, they should have expertise in programming languages like R, including R packages and shiny applications for creating interactive web applications.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will have experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environment and associated geodatabase technologies, including SQL, to collect, manage, and share GIS data. Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for solution deployments is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive enhancements and improvements to our data platform.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify enterprise location service needs and plan, design, build, and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to plan, design, build, and deliver solutions on regulatory use cases.
- Provide ongoing location services support to the organisation, including defect resolution, backlog management, guidance, training development, and system administration.
- Hands-on experience working with ESRI's ArcGIS suite and other geospatial technologies.
- Expertise in programming languages like R, including R packages and shiny applications.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environment and associated geodatabase technologies, including SQL.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for solution deployments.
