About the Role:

This is a critical position that plays a vital part in the External Affairs team for the Southern Business Unit of BAT's Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa Region (APMEA South).

The primary objective of this role is to develop and deliver external and internal communications strategies that support the objectives of the APMEA South and its End Markets.

This includes developing and driving strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful communication campaigns that align with business goals.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing internal and external communications in fast-paced and controversial sectors.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree-educated background with relevant professional qualifications
  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in FMCG/multi-national environments
  • A proven ability to use media to achieve business objectives
