Teaching Role at a Multicultural School

This teaching role is based in a vibrant and diverse school environment where we celebrate the richness of our students' backgrounds.

We provide strong support for our students through 7 Support Unit classes and host a Schools as Community Centre that offers a transition to school program and community engagement initiatives for families with young children.

  • We are looking for a teacher who can develop and implement high quality, differentiated, inclusive and engaging literacy and numeracy programs using evidence informed practices.
  • The successful applicant will enhance student engagement and wellbeing in a complex school environment.
  • They will communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders of the school community to improve student learning outcomes.
  • Supporting the education of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through knowledge and understanding of policies and pedagogies is also an important aspect of this role.

In this role, you will work in a team environment that values cultural safety and equity in education. We offer Dharawal language classes, Aboriginal Culture classes and a Junior Aboriginal Education Consultative Group. Key Responsibilities:
