Job Title: Lead for Inclusive Education

The position of Lead for Inclusive Education is a leadership role at Siena College. The successful candidate will lead the Learning Diversity Team and all Learning Diversity Department Services, working collaboratively with the Learning and Teaching Team.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Provide proactive educational leadership for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Lead staff in continuous improvement in learning and teaching for diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Principal Learning and Teaching to sustain focus on whole-school learning.
  • Support staff in delivering inclusive, contemporary learning opportunities.
  • Engage with families and external agencies to support student participation and progress.

Selection Criteria:

">
  • Demonstrated capacity for proactive educational leadership of students with diverse learning needs.
  • Highly developed skills in leading staff in continuous improvement in learning and teaching, particularly for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to Catholic Education and understanding of charism and spiritual tradition in an order-owned Catholic school.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a secondary school teacher, with desirable experience as a special education teacher/leader in a secondary context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, testing interpretation and monitoring student progress.
