About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Services Assistant to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient meals and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and assembly of patient meals, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the food services team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in food services and customer service.

Essential Criteria:

  • Authority to work in Australia.
  • Working with Children check (if relevant).
  • Experience in aged care or hospital environment (desirable).
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a 7-day roster.
