Senior Project Manager Job Opportunity

This is a senior-level role that involves leading the execution and delivery of projects from start to finish.

  • Taking ownership for project execution and delivery;
  • Design and engineering reviews;
  • Developing and maintaining cost plans, programs, and meeting minutes;
  • Liaising with clients on all project matters;
  • Managing tenders and tender evaluations;
  • Chairing PCG meetings on behalf of the client;
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all project matters;
  • Co-ordinating with third parties to achieve desired outcomes;
  • Submitting project status reports as agreed with the client;
  • Attending site and monitoring progress to ensure legislative and health and safety requirements are met;
  • Managing testing and commissioning associated with the project.

About The Role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced project manager to lead our building consultancy team;
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the entire project life cycle from concept to completion;
  • You will work closely with clients to deliver large-scale building upgrades and refurbishments;
  • A high level of organisational skills is essential to manage own and others' workloads;
  • An outgoing personality with management experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years' experience in Building Consultancy, preferably in Building Services project management or consultancy;
  • Degree qualified in a related field;
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with clients;
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
