The Engine Watchkeeper is a crucial role in maintaining the operational capabilities of our vessel. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position ensures efficient and effective engine and mechanical equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining propulsion, auxiliary, and ancillary machinery for efficient vessel operation
  • Ensuring Self Unloading machinery and equipment operate efficiently
  • Performing deck maintenance and rounds as required by the Chief Engineer
  • Participating in engine room duty engineer on rotation
Requirements
  • Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
  • Residency in Australia
  • Engineer Class 3 (AMSA Marine Order 72) qualification required
  • AMSA Engine Watchkeeper (Class 3) CoC/CoR Unlimited certification
  • Minimum 6 months sea time as an Engine Watchkeeper
