We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day living, providing quality 24/7 care in our supported independent living accommodation settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including domestic and personal care assistance.
  • Assist customers to access and engage with their community.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays with significant availability.
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs.
  • Smart Phone.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
