Job Title:

Healthcare Services Director

A key role has become available for a Healthcare Services Director to lead a team in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operational requirements and leadership of clinical services within the local community, providing Mental Health Drug and Alcohol services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in delivering mental health services to local communities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team and developing their capability and capacity.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications with eligibility for NSW Registration/Professional Association where relevant.
  • Significant clinical experience within relevant mental health service including management experience and responsibility.
  • High level organisational skills, change management skills and flexible work practice to meet the needs of service delivery which is demanding and changeable.
  • Demonstrated Human Resource management that includes performance improvement and managing self in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and how they apply to the day-to-day operations.
  • Demonstrated behaviours that reinforce CORE values: Collaboration, Openness, Respect, Empowerment.
  • Valid unrestricted driving license for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
