About the Role

We are seeking casual teaching staff to join our team at Macquarie University College. As a casual teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons, preparing and marking assessments, supervising in-class assessments and examinations, managing and submitting results, undertaking student consultation, closely monitoring student progress and attendance, participating in meetings, and liaising with staff.

Requirements

  • Hold a minimum of a 3-year bachelor degree in a relevant discipline area (postgraduate degree preferred)
  • Have at least two years of teaching experience, especially in a pathway space
  • Expertise in teaching one or more of the areas listed below: Arts, Business, Statistics/Mathematics, Critical Thinking, Economics, Engineering, Marketing and Management, Media, Information Technology, and more

Benefits

Casual teachers at Macquarie University College are entitled to a competitive hourly rate, estimated at $40-$60 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, develop their teaching skills, and contribute to the academic success of our students.
