Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled overnight caregiver to support the well-being of our baby boy.

This position is crucial for our family as the mother has a health condition and requires adequate rest.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending to the baby's needs overnight, ensuring bottles are washed and sanitized, and providing a calm environment that promotes good sleep.

A bed is available for the caregiver in the baby's room during shifts. The baby has been sleeping soundly overnight, so the primary role will be to be present, respond if the baby wakes, and ensure his feeding and comfort without disrupting his sleep.

The successful applicant should possess:

  • a nurturing personality
  • reliability and trustworthiness
  • experience with young babies and overnight caregiving

Requirements:

To be suitable for this role, candidates must have:

  • at least 5 years of experience as a nanny or in childcare
  • relevant childcare qualifications
  • experience caring for young babies
  • a current first aid certificate
  • a current Working With Children's Check
  • strong communication skills
  • the ability to speak English fluently
