  • Strategic and operational leadership of design functions, driving innovation and continuous improvement across engineering delivery.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally, leading change and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Leading a team of 10+ Project Engineering Managers, collaborating across business units to ensure projects meet governance, technical, and performance standards.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in leading engineering functions within complex environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and technical standards.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness, enabling sound decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in building high-performance teams and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in engineering delivery, particularly in substation and transmission line design and construction. They will bring exceptional interpersonal skills, influencing across all levels of the organisation and externally.
