About the Role:

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing high-quality learning materials and experiences that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing instructional materials to match learning needs and objectives
  • Creating instructor-led and self-paced courseware, including trainer and trainee handouts
  • Designing and developing online learning materials through all facets of development to delivery
  • Conducting analysis of requirements and integrating courseware and digital training aids into relevant Learning Management Systems

  • Collaborating on the development of visual and interactive training aids
  • Providing technical support and assistance to the training team

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Training Design and Development or related field
  • 5 years' experience in instructional design and development
  • E-learning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate highly regarded)
  • Experience with learning technology and associated tools (Knowledge Worker, Sumatra)
  • Experience with Moodle-based Training Management Systems
  • Understanding of technical documentation and ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to manage training content to align with specific learning outcomes
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
