**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at SA Health.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing clinical services to consumers and their families.

The successful applicant will have strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, other agencies, community services, and the multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake health promotion activities, including developing and implementing educational services as required
  • Provide community liaison and education to families, carers, and the community about mental illness and recovery
  • Work in conjunction with government and non-government agencies to effectively coordinate service provision
  • Advocate for and negotiate on behalf of the consumer with relevant groups/organisations

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification that gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards

About You:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with consumers, carers, other agencies, community services, and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to express complex ideas succinctly and logically

Salary Package: The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary package, inclusive of a base salary ranging from $88,255.00 to $102,240.00 (pro rata), plus superannuation benefits.

Working Arrangements: Part-time employment (18.75 hours per week) until March 2026.
