Senior I&E Technician Role Available

Join us for a role as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in our APLNG project team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Pre-commissioning and SAT of low voltage and instrument systems including testing of LV, UPS and battery systems, telemetry systems, Wimax, LTE and Fibre optic communications network, VSD configuration and testing, pre-commissioning and SAT of all site equipment and fault finding and rectification.
  • Ensuring compliance with Hazardous Area installation standards.
  • Assisting the Electrical construction team when required.

You will work on-site at BIBO arrangement from Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off roster.

Key qualifications include a QLD electrical trade qualification, LV rescue and CPR qualifications, Cert III or IV instrumentation, Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA), 5 years + post-trade experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas project and a current QLD Driver's license.

Additionally, you should have an understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification.
