E&I Technicians | Permanent Positions | Moranbah Location

Join GR Production Services as an E&I Technician in Moranbah. We are a leading provider of operations, maintenance, projects, and advisory services to the energy and resources industries, with over 25 years of experience. Our focus is on delivering safe, innovative, and sustainable solutions to our clients.

The role involves operating and maintaining plant and equipment related to compression, power, water treatment, and well field assets to maximize production, reliability, and plant availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the Moranbah Gas Plant, gas wells, and associated infrastructure.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to maximize production and plant availability.
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, minimizing impact on production.
  • Perform daily operational tasks, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
  • Prepare and control work documentation.
  • Maintain instruments and gas analysers.
  • Comply with HSEQ systems and Life Saving Rules.
  • Build positive stakeholder relationships and seek continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • QLD Electrical Licence – Fitter and Mechanic
  • Certificate III Instrumentation
  • Certificate III in Hazardous Areas
  • LVR/CPR
  • High Voltage Switching Certificate
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence – WP
Experience:
  • Instrumentation repair and calibration in gas plants.
  • Process control including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and communication systems.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
  • PTW and Isolation training/experience.
  • Experience with Maximo or similar work management systems.
