Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety systems and policies.

Your primary objective will be to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, while also promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide training and education to employees on health and safety protocols and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a health and safety role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions.
