Health and Safety Manager

This is an exciting chance to lead the health and safety function for a major project, focusing on ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and fostering a culture of safety across the site.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and leading audits, site inspections, and control assessments to guarantee adherence to safety standards.
- They will also lead investigations into incidents, ensuring thorough reviews and identifying areas for improvement.
- In addition, they will develop and implement health, safety, and emergency management strategies aligned with client specifications.
- Furthermore, they will facilitate risk assessment workshops and contribute to construction method statements.
- A degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Experience developing and managing health and safety policies and systems.
- Experience working on greenfield projects, including precast walls, earthworks, and access roads.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proven track record in risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Preferred qualifications include experience in tunnels, concrete, precast, piling, earthworks, and access roads. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record in risk assessments, and experience developing and managing health and safety policies and systems.
